WELCOME TO TROIA
Your destination for THU 2026 and our home for six days!
ABOUT TROIA
Nestled in the Alentejo region, Troia is a hidden gem on Portugal's Atlantic coast.
For six days, this peninsula becomes a home for creativity and connection.
Since it’s small, you will feel like you are living in a THU Village, where everyone is a neighbor. We recommend finding accommodation here, especially since activities run from early morning until late at night.

Highlights

Beach as far as the eye can see
18km of golden sand and crystal-clear waters.

Natural reserve & dolphins
The Sado Estuary Nature Reserve is home to several species of fauna and flora.

Sunset views
Make sure to catch a sunset. They feel like living paintings.
TIPS AROUND GRANDOLA

Portuguese food is art
Don’t forget to taste delicacies such as choco frito (tempura fried squid), amêijoas (clams), azeitão cheese, and the famous sweet wine Moscatel de Setubal.

Get creative at the Beach
Troia is a great place for swimming. Last edition, the beach became a canvas too, during our sand sculptures activity. We got some impressive creations out of it (and a few sunburns).

Watch birds
In the 2023 edition of the event, Jesper Ejsing got inspired by bird watching, later drawing the birds at the Gallery. Who knew relaxing and looking at the sky could turn into a work of art?
