• What is the Pitch Days about?

  The Pitch Days is a two-part event combining an educational program with a pitching opportunity. Every ticket holder gets access to:

  • The Academy - a program focused on how investment works in the creative industry. 
  • Separately, you can apply to pitch your project to an investor jury. Attending the Academy is guaranteed with your ticket; pitching depends on your project being selected through the application process. A Pitch Days ticket is mandatory to apply.

• Do I need a project to attend?

  You don’t need a project to attend the Pitch Days. The Academy is open to anyone eager to learn more. It's an educational program about how investment in the creative industry works.

• Does buying a Pitch Days ticket guarantee I can pitch?

  The pitching opportunity requires your project to be selected through the application process first.

• What types of projects are eligible?

  Projects in active development with a proof of concept: indie or AA video games (with a demo or vertical slice), animation projects (short films, series or IPs with an animatic or pilot), XR projects (VR/AR/MR with a creative or entertainment application), tools or platforms for the creative industry (with a working prototype), creative startups with a defined business model and early market validation and original IPs with licensing or co-production potential. Ideas without a proof of concept are not eligible.

• When do applications close?

  End of July 2026. No applications are accepted after this date. The review and jury evaluation process runs through July and August, with selected teams notified in early August.

• What does the jury look for?

  Projects are scored depending on maturity,  a clear business model and a realistic go-to-market strategy; pitch quality; originality and impact; and team credibility (the team must have the right skills to actually execute the project).

• Does the Pitch Days ticket give access to the rest of the Main Event?

  Pitch Days ticket does not include the general Main Event program, opening or closing ceremonies or the Industry Days.

• Can I submit more than one project?

  Yes. Each person can submit multiple projects independently. Keep in mind that every submission is evaluated on its own merits - each project needs its own complete application with pitch deck, business plan, and supporting materials.

• Where can I submit my pitch application?

  If you already have a ticket, log in to the THU Platform and navigate to the Pitch Days space. From there, select the My Pitches menu to start or manage your application.

• How many people from my team need to buy a ticket to pitch together?

  Every team member who will be present at the event must hold their own individual Pitch Days ticket. Tickets are per person, not per project.

• Can I invite team members to my project?

  Yes, but each team member must already hold a valid Pitch Days ticket before you can add them to the space. Sending an invitation to someone without a ticket will result in an error. Make sure your whole team is ticketed before trying to assemble your project team on the platform. 

  You can still add other members after the Pitch Days event.

  
  

• What do I need to submit from my team?

  In the submission form, make sure you include links to each team member's CV or portfolio. This is an important part of the evaluation - the jury assesses whether your team has the right skills and experience to realistically execute the project.
