How it all started
Our story began in 2013 with a simple idea: gathering the brightest minds in the digital entertainment industry for an informal event in Tróia, with no VIPs and no corporate nonsense.
Fast forward to more than a decade of crossing borders, reinventing ourselves, hosting gatherings across the globe, moving the Main Event to Malta, coming back to Portugal, creating a new event in Japan, building the THU Platform, and hosting projects and online events that took ideas off the ground and boosted careers.
A lot has changed since then, but we keep that same grassroots culture alive: THU is built on community and connection, no matter what or where.
THU was never meant to be just an event.
