BEYOND MACHINES: The Silent Revolution of Human Brains

Description

While everyone is talking about how AI will transform the future of work, another revolution is already happening: a human one.

Rising awareness of neurodivergent identities, mental health struggles, anxiety and anger about the future, the search for wellbeing and autonomy, and changing expectations around work can no longer be treated simply as individual problems to solve. They are signals of a growing mismatch between humans and the systems we have built for them.

This session challenges the idea that people must constantly become more resilient, adaptable or productive to fit the workplace. Moving from the individual to a person-environment perspective, we will explore cognitive variability, autonomy, person-environment fit, i-deals and new ways of organizing work.

AI may change what we do, but the bigger question is how we want to live and work alongside it. Is the creative industry ready not only for the machines of the future, but for the humans who will work with them?
