Hey new Campers! If you’re reading this, that means you’re interested in applying and scoring a free ticket for THU Career Camp.

If you think Career Camp is just a recruitment event, think again. We also tackle skill and career development and host mentorships, talks, portfolio reviews, and more!

This event is for everyone looking to go further on their path and want to improve and grow continuously. If you’re passionate about what you do, this is the place for you. Here’s a step-by-step of what you have to do and what to have in mind when clicking the apply button!

About the selection process and joining the Tribe

We’re always happy to welcome new members to our Tribe of down-to-earth people who share a passion for creativity and root for each other. But here’s the thing: this community is unique because of the values everyone shares. Being a part of the Tribe means helping each other and growing together.

Our selection process is our way of ensuring everyone who joins us believes that success is more than your own accomplishment. It’s also about using it to help others, giving back to the community, and paying it forward so together, we can create a chain reaction of positivity with a profound impact. It’s all about having the right attitude.

Reason to Apply: impress the unicorns and get selected

If you’re applying for a Career Camp ticket, you’ll have to write about your motivation to enter.
Why would you like to join the Tribe? What would you like to learn or gain from the Career Camp experience? Just be yourself (hey, we had to say this cliché at some point! Let us live) and remember what we wrote in the section above this one.
Oh, and no need to include links in this section. You’ll have a specific area for that when applying!

Your Profile: the magic key to the Camp

Your THU profile will always be taken into account, whether you’ve applied for a Career Camp ticket or you’re applying for a job offer inside the Camp. Do the extra work and let us know you’re serious about participating. Your profile serves as the first point of contact for the recruiters to notice you. The more complete your THU profile is, the better!

One last thing: don’t forget to update your links!
Inside your THU profile, you’ll have the chance to include or update links to your portfolio, repository, reel, or links to your CV. Your portfolio is the first impression recruiters will have of your work and skill, so don’t forget to keep it updated with relevant work to demonstrate that you’re serious about the opportunity. Besides showing how passionate and committed you are, an updated portfolio also gives great insight into the growth and development of your craft, tracking your progress over time.

You can also find out how to make a portfolio stand out by asking people from your field on our discord server!
