Now it’s your turn.

Building on the ideas from *The Compass*, we’ll put creative constraints to work. Each participant will be given three rules to guide the creation of a poster—a wanted poster, a missing poster, an advertisement for an entirely fabricated event, or whatever else inspires you.

We’ll provide cut-paper shapes, poster board, glue, markers, and other supplies. Your challenge is simple: work within the rules and see where they take you. Let them push you somewhere unexpected.

There are only three rules. At least, there are when we begin.

As the challenge unfolds, constraints may change, disappear, or arrive unexpectedly. You’ll have to decide what to preserve, what to adapt, and which rules might be worth breaking.

Come make something, embrace a little creative chaos, and discover what happens when the constraints change—but there is still something new to create.
