Many artists have ideas that could solve real problems in the industry, but few know how to take the first step.
In this talk, Alan Camilo shares the story behind animBot, from identifying a problem in his day-to-day work as an animator to building a tool now used by artists and studios around the world.
More than the story of a product, this presentation explores how a simple idea can evolve into a sustainable business. Along the way, Alan discusses the challenges, mistakes, lessons learned, and key decisions that transformed a personal side project into a successful company.
Whether you're an artist, developer, or creator, this talk will inspire you to look beyond traditional career paths by learning how to identify opportunities, validate ideas, find your first users, and build something that creates lasting value for the industry.
