Cynthia Sheppard is an award-winning illustrator and currently works as a Senior Art Director for Magic: The Gathering.

She enjoys creating illustrations inspired by a blend of late 19th century realist painting and modern fantasy art, in both digital and traditional media, with a focus on emotional resonance and visual narrative. As an illustrator, her clients include Wizards of the Coast, Tor Books, and Llewellyn Worldwide.

In her spare time she enjoys painting personal pieces, attending life drawing sessions, drinking coffee, and making videos about artistic growth and painting for YouTube.
