Biography

Rob Bliss is a concept artist working in the film industry since 1998. He has spent the past 19 years contributing design work to many well known and prestigious titles.

He began his illustration career in the early nineties painting ‘The Clown’ for 2000AD before moving on to painting cards for Wizards of the Coast and designing characters for the games industry.

At the turn of the millennium he joined the production of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and subsequently went on to design many characters for the ensuing series of films including the Dementors, Death Eaters, Thestrals, Kreacher and Dobby. During that period he was also invited onto the production of The Dark Knight where he helped design The Joker and his masked gang.

Rob has since gone on to work on such titles as Godzilla, Batman Vs Superman, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Kong: Skull Island and Beauty and the Beast.
