I researched 17 trailers over the last week and studied the heck out of them. Been working really hard on my animatic this last week as a result. I did my first draft of voiceovers for timing purposes. I got the timing of my trailer to 4 minutes. Now I need to get it down to 3 minutes.
This was super fun to do, as it really placed me inside the mindset of my characters for the first time.
Now I need to finish the rough storyboard for the visuals. Looking forward to finishing off this 2nd draft of my animatic and onboarding my voiceover artists for the next draft.
My goals for this week are a lot clearer after getting this first draft of my animatic out the way.
