  • Composition WIP - 003

    I've added a few more elements on the background and started to paint the folliage on the tree tops.

    Overall everything is there already and very close to what I want to achieve with this illustration. 

    As we still have time. I'll put more effort to it and put a few birds maybe.

  • Composition WIP - 002

    I've made good progress this weekend.

    • Finally I've put together some of the trees and plants together!
    • Changed the camera position slightly 
    • Moved some objects to a better position
    • Opened a few UVs and got some textures on the tree
    • Separated the scene in 3 layers - Foreground. Middleground and Background.

    There is a lot more to be done and the main issue I still need to solve are the Tree Top, which I'm still not sure how I'll solve it.

    I also need to improve some of the atmosferic and put kind of a fog to the scene,.To give it more depth and a better mood. Right now as it is the car and the back tree are in the same plane of the robots, but they should fell they are a bit far from the camera still.

     

    I'm really glad that more people are joning the Golden Ticket as well! Let's keep pushing!! =)

  • Composition test + color test

    <div class="lexxy-content lightbox-container"> <p>I've started to put everything together in one scene and blocked some colors and light to get a sense of what I want to achieve in the final illustratoin. It's a really rought idea for the mood and I'll probably change it a lot.</p> <p> </p> <p>I've also been modeling some leaves and plants to populate my scene.   • Main models put together

  • Character WIP

  • 3D Models

    I've modeled the car some at the beggining of the project actually to give me inpisration on the astetic I want to build. 

    And the Little Robot is Called Bruno =) 

    I'll be modeling more props and also the Character that I will share soon

  • Forest saviour

    <div class="lexxy-content lightbox-container"> <p>My idea is that this indian guy studied and developed some little robots that will help him carry some almost extincted plant seedlings.With the help of tecnology they are exploring a dense tropical forest to discover the best place to plant those seedlings.</p> <p> </p> <p>Here are some visual exploration for my project.
