Soooo I'm running out of time! I've managed to color in the characters and the foreground, as well as add some detail on the buildings in the background. I still want to add characters in the middleground and work the values of the whole image! Almost there!

I finalised a sketch from the thumbnail and went ahead with it. These are some basic colours explorations according to the mood and the story. I thought of using bright, vibrant  and warm colours to support the visual language of the concept. I wanted it to be a happy and joyful environment.

Now I have this render as a base for the perpective and placement of the elements. I think I'm gonna be moving some stuff around anyways.

Hi,

I'm pretty late to the party, so I don't have much time to explore a lot of concepts. Here is the idea : In the future, the agricultural lands will be displaced from the ground to be carried by giant flying autonomous units. Massive drones carrying soil, plants, seeds.. to grow on their back. The carried biomass allows them to sustain agricultural cycles on their own. The 5g technology sends meteorogical data about what region would be the best fit for its need (water, sun, humidity, pressure...) and as they are floating/flying, the can move to said locations to fit their needs when they need. Hence they can avoid drought, flood, storms, freeze, or any other environmental hazard, and go to more suitable places, sunny place when they need or rainy if they need to feed the fields and stock up on water.

This would free up alot of agricultural land, and would allow more spaces for wild life and humans to come back to. The latter would be able to spread out of super high density area, and develop a more nature-based style of urbanism, where housings and activities are spreaded out among natural environnements, with as little constructions as possible. The architecture would follow Frank Lloyd Wright's principle of organic architecture blending with its natural surrounding.

The inhabitants on ground level, can schedule a delivery of the commodity of their choice, the FAU would proceed to their location following the meteorologically optimal path, and deliver fresh goods, picked up not more than an hour earlier

These are some quick thumbnails. I want to put the characters  in a cosy space, surrounded by fields, plants, flowers, fruits, a big tree providing shade, water stream etc. The advance machines on the field which are helping in the farming. I am trying to create a good balance between the nature and the technology and also to make it visually appealing.

I came up with a setting where I want to show a family living happily in their space. They are farmers who are utilising the technology in a sustainable way. Due to the advancement in connectivity, they are connected to their loved ones who are at distance from them. Being in a rural area, they have equal opportunities in terms of education, health, wealth and other facilities.

added the floating solar panels... the new energy highway. Main thing missing is the balloons that hold all these new infrastructures together in the sky... and then more detailing to suggest scale changes

For the Theme 'Agents of Change', after going through some research and information collection, I decided to explore the concept of a Family who is living in the world of advance technology. The world where everyone is happy and connected as a family. A sustainable world where people are equally friendly with nature and the technology.

The thing I like more about the humanity are the things we were able to build as civilization (learning from each other) and I like to imagine what the native people from america would be able to apport in a future with wireless tecnologies.

Since I added a new figure/object in the composition, sketched out some of the details, and it's possible to function as a hedgehog robot.

Here are some images of my process of creating the work.

Through 4-9, I struggled to create a balance between the planet and the ground, so I tried putting a lift. However, in the end, I removed the life, re-drew the human figure, and left only the additional hedgehog robot figure.

Here's a quick sketch of the character's outfit. From the final sketch, the character's silhouette is more significant. However, I still want to make sure it gives a wire man/woman vibe, and for possible future use, I quickly sketched out the structure of the outfit.

The work presents a working wire man/woman with an enormous and exaggerated planet Earth with an electric pole-like object in the back. I intend to present the grandeur of the world and the feeling of possibility and potential of creating new connections or methods of creating connections.

The clear contrast of scale and tone may be the key to portraying the work's grandeur and depth/dimension.

Decided to go for capturing a moment in time and a narrower lens to showcase the people and their daily instead of creating a wide shot of this city. hope i get to finish it :))

So, trying some compositions in these thumbnails and getting the references of the desert and the look and feel I'd like to achieve in this moodboard. Next step, some quick layout in 3d to establish the shot!
