I'm still sorting through the ideas I have for this look into the future, but one thing I want to hone in on is the human experience. In this case looking at what sort of work, relaxation etc. people would be participating in day to day.

I'll admit that this sketch is very much a proof of concept, and formed as a deliberate parody of another artwork I made recently, but the energy I want to portray holds true.

Will be sketching out more ideas soon!

I've just tried  in the spare time to give a better idea to the building (I'm not so satisfied yet, but it gives an idea how the energy could be transferred from the air to the other things with the pollen)
The material of the glowing line is made by the same of the leaves. So there's a connection between all the mechanism.

I really hope to start the final image soon, I can't wait to find the right mood for this!

Finally I've found some time to brainstorm the idea of the city and how all the structure of the Pollen Mechanism works.
I've figure it out that, for a great amount of energy and a more "epicness" it would be better to enlarge them all. So it justify the great amount of silkworm and then the moth also.
I've imagined the design of the Architects as something misterious and "cool" mixing some oriental design and techwear with eco materials (I've imagined the skirt of the same energetic material of the leaves).
Again I really hope you'll like it! I cant wait to define better all the details, I'm really enjoying dreaming of this world.

Heavily inspired by Arthur Radebaugh's ideas since the 1950 and 60 based on the utopian dream. This is my first initial thumbnail/sketch while there were many mind mapping concepts that were being visualized, it was interesting for me personally to push on those existing real-world boundaries and bring more fantasize meaning to the work. Imagine energy and information being delivered/transferred through roots/tree systems in which we could visually see through our naked eye, civilization coexists with nature body fills with organic/biodiversity environment, the creation of "Symbiosis". It was a wonderful experience to join this challenge, can't wait to see the finishing product! 

This is the first sketch for the idea I'm working on. I'm trying to achieve a graphic style with sharp angles, a bit out of my comfort zone, so I can learn while doing this challenge. I imagine that technology in the future will impact our education, and make it more accesible to everyone regardless of where you are on the planet.

Hello mates,
This is my very first time attempting this amazing challenge!

As soon as I read this year's text, I started dreaming of a high-tech world in which nature and man have found a strong balance. The architects, who are brilliant humans able to connect deeply with nature, have found a way for silkworms to produce a type of plant filament. With this filament they build huge leaf-like structures that can attract the sun's rays and transmit them to a flower that transmits that same energy via 5g. The effect looks incredibly like flower pollen.
I dreamt of huge metropolis surrounded by nature where moths (which are simply the result of silkworms) roam free and teach the new silkworms to weave new leaf-shaped constructions 
the visual effect will be very similar to snow-white wisps

This is the starting sketch to my wok. Gettinng the shapes down and the general narrative and composition. Basically this is what makes or break a piece imo. So excited for this challenge!
