Military Vanguard - Robot line art
Since i was satisfied with the robot i wanted to make, i started to make its line art, the two soldiers and background come next.
For this contest, i went out of the positive technological advance in terms of social media and such and decide to think more about homeland defense, how would national forces be equiped? would their gear be efficient and usefull? how would the 5g technology affect this? Long distance robots are already a thing, so why not go beyond with it?
Almost at the end. Spend most of the time fixing the background colors and values to something that looks right withing the light conditions.
Change the red guy phone into a holographic book that he polled from a libarbry, in this universe you are able to acsses any book from any library and read it on the moment phiscly. Also added a UI interface for the left guy.
Still have some more fixing that I plane to do later on, but I think Im happy with derition is going right now.
The revision for the idea was to create an open scenery emphasising discovery and learning where man, machine, beast and nature coexist peacefully and thrive with one another.
A color sketch of an early morning, misty mountain scene was created with flying cars and architecture blending into the mountains. The primary software being used for this image is Procreate.
The idea here is to show the opportunities that would arise from better connections, and how they introduce new ways of effective farming (vertical ai powered) and more enriching classroom experiences, and eco conservation. I imagine that with better resources, online or in person education could be much more involved and creative( in this case shown through entering a "field trip" from a metaphorical screen. In addition, I imagine that research and wild life( in my thumbnail it is marine life) conservation can be pushed much further with wireless technology and efficient resources.
After brainstorming some concepts, I'm now experimenting with composition and storytelling. This is really the sketch phase to get ideas flowing. I usually hate these drawings but they are very important to understand what doesn't work - specially for someone like me, who still needs to try out things to get to the point where they start working.
Hey guys.
I know I said it was ZBrush time but I wanted to decide on the final pose first so that, if possible, I can start sculpting using the Target Pose function on ZBrush. Figuring out the pose first seemed like a better approach for me since it allows me to see sillouettes and overall shapes better rather than comitting to a general idea, specially when the deadline is so close.
So all this to say I spent the whole morning photographing myself as Maria (btw, my seed projector in my photos was my food blender. Yes, my food blender) to get more accurate references, then I moved to Clip Studio Paint and started drawing. Here's the result!
Hope you're all having fun with this challenge because I sure am too! :)
