Project Description

The "Primitive Hut Oasis Project" is based on the brick huts appearing all over Vienna (Austria) forest during the pandemic. As the most basic shelter, a hut is a mediator between man and nature, has strong symbolic value and it needs a human creative effort for building. A hut can also be understood as a mind place where we can find calmness within ourselves. The hut, both in reality and in our mind place, is not built for eternity - it needs maintenance and nurturing. With the right care it becomes what it should be - a personal oasis.
