Project Description

I recently moved to London for a job and found myself buried in the centre of such a giant metropolis. To clear my head and rest from the stress of deadlines and a never ending noise, I go for night walks to find small quiet pockets of green and rest. I decided to base this piece off of the beautiful community gardens that nestle amongst the concrete jungle and provided me with respite. I wanted to capture the sense that this small oasis was the creation of a resident of an impossibly large city and this place was their relief from the chaos.
