Animatic and layout artists are responsible for creating staging, blocking, composing shots and scenes. Capturing timing, camera movement and for editing.

Pigeon deals with 2D animated projects taking advantage of the benefits offered by 3D tools, therefore the layout artist tasks will include:
- Transferring the storyboard to the timeline of the editing software
- Translation of storyboards and animatics into 2.5D and 3D previz
- Staging, blocking and camera work in 2D and 3D layout
- Finessing of cameras at animation stage where required
- Maintaining consistent quality, style and continuity, both visually and technically throughout the project

- Knowledge of one of the basic 3D software is essential. Blender is very welcome.
- Knowledge of one of the basic Editing software is essential.
- Strong understanding of cinematography, with a keen eye for composition
- Strong understanding of editing, with a keen eye for peacing
- Reel proving experience and skills

- Working on a unique fantasy/sci-fi dinosaur project based on original IP
- Comfortable working mode, adaptable to the employee
