Creative Cognition: Portfolio and Process Review
Mentor

Description
This one-on-one session isn’t another “pretty portfolio” review. It still offers a focused and reflective review of your creative work, however it does it through the lens of creative cognition: how ideas are formed, developed, and translated into concrete outcomes.
We will look at selected portfolio pieces, project concepts, or works in progress, and examine how your modes of thinking, sketching, structuring, and decision-making influence what ultimately appears in the work. Rather than stylistic critique alone, the session aims to clarify underlying patterns in your creative process, including habits that support originality and those that may constrain it.
The session is suitable for designers, artists, and researchers preparing portfolios, pitches, applications, or rethinking their practice. You will leave with clear observations, concrete directions for refinement, and a more articulated understanding of how your own cognitive and material processes shape your work.
This is a structured conversation grounded in research and professional practice, not a formula or performance review.
