Hey! 
I'm Zsofi. Here's a little bit about me.

I was born in Hungary in the 1980s but because of the job of my parents I grew up in Prague. I studied art history at the University of Vienna, Austria and later in Padova, Italy, before a brief stay at the Louvre Paris.
For personal reasons I changed my career plans and went on to live and work in Brussels for the European Union and the German Parliament. I met my husband there and later - because of his job - we lived five years in Tokyo, Japan.
At the moment I'm back in Europe, but we are waiting for our next deployment in Summer '25.

During my stay in Tokyo I wasn't allowed to work (because of my type of visa) so after more than 10 years working for the government I finally had time and rediscovered my old passion for art and drawing and I couldn't turn back since.

Now I'm a happy millennial studying vis dev at IDEA Academy (Master Level 1) with a bunch of young adults who could easily be my own kids ;). But the ride so far has been absolutely amazing and I haven't regretted one bit of it.

"When I grow up" I'd like to make my passion to my profession and work in the industry. Although at the moment I'm still searching for my niche/area of preference.

In my free time I love to cook (and eat ;)), hike, do sports, read and nerd out on stuff.

I'm a huge history buff, enjoy going down rabbit holes, love everything with to do with folklore, mythology and legends. I'm a sucker for costumes and (historical/national) dresses. I love taking deep dives into any culture I get in contact with.

Amongst others I'm an accredited a sommelier and a certified Kimono teacher. Because of my many moves around the world I also speak seven languages (German, Hungarian, English, French, Italian, Czech and Japanese).
