Biography
Hello! My name is Zsófia Döme a Hungarian artist currently living in Budapest. I graduated from Hungarian University of Fine Arts. In my last student year I started my career at the award-winning studio Digic Pictures in 2017 as a Surfacing and Shading Artist. Due to changes in our department, I also did an inhouse training and worked as a shader artist from 2019 as well. Occasionally, when art directors were overwhelmed with work, I got minor concept art tasks (for example: designing props or background characters, or designing details/ornaments on a plain model. I wanted to shift my focus to a more creative role, so I changed directions. Currently I'm working on slots games as a 2D Game Artist at a small Slovenian company. I am constantly trying to improve my skills, so in my spare time I often take up smaller illustration projects or concept art related freelance work. My goal is to become a concept artist/illustrator in animation and games and working on a variety of projects. I'd like to find a direction which suits me the best, broaden my artistic voice, keep inspired and also inspire others in the long run. About me in a few words: playing violin, underground clubs and concerts, folk and black metal, love for the victorian era, living gluten free, local art communities, horrible puns :D
