Biography
I’m a multidisciplinary artist and illustrator, born in Türkiye, and based in Germany since 2017. My practice moves between paper art, illustration, animation, painting, tufting, and installation, often combining traditional handcraft with contemporary visual storytelling. Over the years, I have collaborated with organizations and brands including IKEA, Wacom, the University of Manchester, Charité Berlin, and PopBoard NRW.
I have a background in sociology and found my way into art after leaving a corporate career to pursue it full-time. Since then, my practice has grown beyond making individual works into creating spaces for people to meet, experiment, and make things together. Alongside my own work, I lead creative workshops, take part in talks and panels, and organize community-based art events. I’m also one of the founders of PAPP Art Collective, a Cologne-based collective bringing together art, community, and collaborative projects.
