Yukim ("you-keem") was born and raised in Kochi-shi, Japan, before immigrating to the United States to chase the American Dream with his Japanese-American family. Since starting his new life at the age of 10, Yukim has discovered his love for art and decided to pursue the entertainment industry after watching Alien (1979). Graduating from an art high school, Yukim studies concept art independently at the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, known to be one of the most innovative universities in the west of America.
