I think I have a familiar story - I've always loved drawing, but my immigrant parents pushed me to have a more "stable" career. For me, that was getting a master's degree in education and being a classroom teacher for seven years. However, when 2020 upended the world, my husband and I were not exempt from its impact. We moved from San Francisco to Montréal and this sudden change in circumstance gave me a chance to seriously pursue my dream of working as an artist full time. Two years later, this dream became reality and in 2022 I began my first full-time job in the industry as a concept artist for Gameloft Montréal, working on Disney Dreamlight Valley.
