Yael is an Independent animation director, Specializeing in 2d animation, combined with collage technique. Born in Jerusalem in 1990. Graduated from the Department of Screen Arts, Bezalel, with honors. (2018). In 2017 she was on a student exchange at "Art Center" college of design in California, focusing on concept art.

Her independent films were screened in various animation festivals including "Annecy", "Zagreb" and "Stuttgart", won several awards and were exhibited at Tribes media's "Glitch" streaming service, at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, and at the la brigade des images museum in Paris.

In 2013 she worked as a flash animator in "Sundaysky" and in 2016 as an in-between animator in the film "The Legend of King Solomon" directed by Hanan Kaminsky. 

Since 2014, she has been working as a freelance animation director and documentary video editor (mainly in "Kan" digital).

In recent years, she has directed and animated short films for various clients, including "TED-ED", "Reshet", "Amaze", "the 49 percent" and more.
