Biography

I started out as a college kid making music videos for local artists in Ohio - playing my part in the late 2000s DSLR revolution. In 2012 I moved to Chicago, and gradually shifted my focus to video editing and motion graphic design. I’ve continued to work on music videos, but have also worked on a broad spectrum of content ranging from social media promos to educational explainer videos. I’m currently in a full-time role as the Senior Multimedia Designer for a national medical education accreditor. As the lead content creator- I produce all video content for our website and social channels, record and edit a monthly podcast, and have begun to the learn the art of e-learning course authoring. This has been a great learning experience in building up a brand from very little media content to regularly scheduled releases across multiple platforms. Personally, I’ve spent the last few years getting really into illustration and 2D animation. I’ve started creating a series of animated gifs and am even in production on a fully-animated music video. I’m looking to meet like-minded creators and to surround myself with the creative energy that these environments produce. I’d love to be able to offer my skills and experience to help others as well as to get inspired by the work others are doing. I’m also really excited about the prospect of finding other people to collaborate with.
