Vinícius Alexandre
Biography
Hello, how are you? My name is Vinícius Alexandre, I am 20 years old, and I am currently studying Game Design, at Anhembi Morumbi University. I work as an illustrator and concept artist, using traditional and digital media, but always giving preference to softwares such as Photoshop, Clip Studio, Sketchbook among some others. My work is focused on character creation, conceptual design, environmental design, storytelling and digital illustration, but is mostly focused on character creation and character development. Lately, I have been studying and practicing 3D projects, using digital platforms like ZBrush and Blender, however, I am still trying to discover and use other softwares and features. I seek to strengthen my portfolio daily, in order to achieve an increasingly professional qualification and specialization. My professional interests are more directed towards the games industry, but I am open to any kind of opportunities involving other media, channels and platforms.
I like to work in groups, and I have easy communication, which allows for a greater involvement and interaction in teamwork. I like to take initiative in order to advance things, deadlines and productions. I think it is extremely important to define goals, and stipulate deadlines and rules for completing a project, in addition to being indispensable prerequisites for a better use and dynamism in the project. I have no preference for themes to work with: I like to work and therefore I adapt to any theme and any challenge that is associated with the theme. I try to be proactive in the development period of a project, and I always try to combine and reconcile external situations with those of the project, in order to try to innovate in the solution of a certain problem.
Currently, my professional focuses are: character design, conceptual art, storytelling, writing / scripting, environment design, 3D modeling and level design. I have an art studio shared with my girlfriend, called Made by Two, which has a production character very much focused on concept art and storytelling. At the moment, our studio still has no practical application, as in a game or a film, but we invested a lot in it in order to increase our portfolio and show our audience our stories and development processes.
