I am currently working as the Digital Marketing Specialist for Games Factory Talents, a Finnish games industry recruitment agency. I handle the company's social media content and curation, set up and run its Discord server, and help organize its upcoming Games Job Fair in April, among other tasks. As a freelancer I have been developing my skills as a pop culture copywriter for over 10 years, and my role as a freelance reviewer at South Korean Film and Drama Database HanCinema has been vital for it. I also worked as its social media curator for a while, mostly handling community guidelines, communication with the users, and posting on Facebook and Twitter, using tools such as Hootsuite. I have also done photo and video database updating for the site. I am currently also a freelance copywriter for South Korean sports mask company Naroo, tackling a previously unfamiliar topic, and doing very well at it. My experience has been solely remote and very international. I have worked across both the US and South Korean timezones—even at the same time—with people from different cultural and work backgrounds. I have worked in very small teams and mostly independently, so I am very capable of managing my own workload and schedule. I have co-planned and covered events, delivered written pieces, communicated with the readers of my pieces, and more. While I enjoy solo work the most—and need a quiet environment to focus—I am cheerful, friendly, and very talkative, and energetic. I am a comfortable team player who values mutual respect, punctuality, and the will to communicate, exchange thoughts, and share knowledge. I am more of a task-focused individual, rather than a multitasker, so a calmer work environment is better suited for me, though I always keep my cool under any emergency, or high-octane situations.
