Biography
I am a video game concept artist trying to move on after sticking with a small local indie game studio for some 5 years.
Currently I am inspired by popular Japanese-styled game art and illustrations (the likes of rei_17 or QTONAGI) Not in terms of their content, but the composition, color choices and detailing. I am also taken with heavy machinery along the lines of Mike Doscher, Paperblue's detailed scribbling, illustrative form of Peter Mohrbacher or expressive oil painting of the late Terence Cuneo, to count some examples. My goal then is to marry my mechanical design background with illustration art.
My current aspiration is to create an IP about non-violent machines, be it a video game or just an artbook.
