I was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Growing up, I fell in love with art and cartooning through shows like Gravity Falls and Steven Universe, and pushed myself throughout middle school to learn how to draw. I ended up attending high school at the Chicago High School for the Arts; a public pre-college arts magnet school. I was accepted into their visual arts conservatory and spent my time in high school learning the basics of drawing fundamentals and design, choosing to concentrate my focus in the Visual Communications ‘major’. As a high school senior, I applied to several animation colleges and am currently awaiting a response. My goal is to learn as much as possible about animation and the industry before I go off to college.
