Before joining the film industry, Sylvia Jorde studied Economics and Business Administration B. Sc. in Germany, Japan, and Portugal.
Since 2019, she is studying film production at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and in 2021 she
joined the Animationsinstitut for the project studies in animation / effects producing, focusing on
worldbuilding, storytelling, and animation and game production.

She produced the animated documentary short "Xanh" that won the German Short Film Award in 2023.
In 2024, she co-founded the company Blossom Seeker GmbH and is currently working as producer and writer on the 2D Metroidvania game SYMBLINGS.
