Stephanie Ngoei is a recently graduated illustrator and character designer based in Jakarta, Indonesia. She enjoys visual storytelling using light, color, and dynamic characters. Her design process is rooted in thorough research and thoughtful iteration. She relies on self-motivation, design thinking, continuous learning, and collaboration to succeed in team-based and individual settings. She aspires to work as a visual development artist in animation and create magic with fellow artists. 

As an illustrator, she has illustrated three children’s books. Her first book, “Snow White, a Bit Different Story,” was commissioned by Drina Cole, a Serbian author. Her second book, “The Golden Oyster," was recognized as one of the best among her university cohort and is underway for publishing. "Tak Tahan Lagi" is her most recent book, created for Let's Read, The Asia Foundation's free children's library.

Outside of work, her interests include books, movies, cuisine, and interesting facts on the internet.
