My name is Stephanie Alexander and I am an animator and storyboard artist with nearly 5 years of industry experience who is open for work and looking for my next gig. I graduated from Laguna College of Art and Design in 2016, where studied traditional animation techniques that I have continued to utilize on both traditional and digital projects and in my storyboard work. My first gig out of college was at Duncan Studio as an animation assistant on Mary Poppins Returns, where I primarily acted as an inbetweener for many of the animators, including Chris Sauve who trusted me with many of the wolf's scenes. Since then, I have worked as a board artist and revisionist at Oddbot, Inc., a freelance board artist for Disney TVA, and a freelance animator for several projects, including two for Jim Capobianco's studio Aerial Contrivance Workshop. Currently I am wrapping up as a contract paint & effects artist for Studio MDHR on Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course. I primarily work in Harmony and have experience doing both hand drawn and rig based animating in the program. I have so much passion for boarding and animation. I love the sense of discovery that comes from bringing a character to life and taking them from being a still image to a thinking, breathing person. That idea is central to my being as an animator and artist and I am always looking for opportunities to express that and be in the presence of like-minded individuals working towards the shared goal of creating something awesome.
