Mobile and global, Stella Lightheart has worked on Academy Award Winning projects, with the likes of Sir Peter Jackson, George Lucas, Taika Waititi, and Netflix Animation. After having been authorised and deemed an “Alien of Extraordinary Ability”, Stella was granted United States residency after having reached the epoch of New Zealand’s opportunities within the The Hobbit franchise and The Flight of the Conchords. Originally hailing from England, she built an art business in the United Kingdom, tapping into an ancestral druidic lineage to channel her creations; securing licensing deals along the way, along with two exhibitions, front-page publicity, and collaborations with interior designers to create custom large-scale abstract pieces. In 2016, Ms. Lightheart achieved an incredible moment as she spoke about Animation Pipelines at Stan Lee’s Comic Con with Looney Tunes veteran, Jack Enyart. Currently, she’s improving workflow while editing the Emmy-Winning Preschool Storybots franchise.
