I started my YouTube series "The Virtual Reality Show" back at the start of the Covid-19 epidemic. The idea behind my show was to find my way into the VR industry using my strong presentation skills by showcasing different key aspects of VR to as wide of an audience as possible. My series hit off fairly quickly and in the span of about 2 1/2 years, and I've just recently obtained over 200,000 subscribers. (Woohoo!) I recently finished a project that was in the works which is a full working entertainment studio inside of VRChat. There is MANY talented creators in the space who do everything from cinematic films, live music performances, and dancing! So many things are possible, and that's so exciting. Now that I have amassed growing resources and industry connections all around the world, I'm utilizing my newly established reputation expand from just educational videos to live entertainment that's already had hundreds of attendees since it's opening in September! Undertaking a project such as this has been a big task- commissioning extremely talented world creators, connecting different entertainers and brands, upholding a full staff team is all a challenge! But I'm trying to work my hardest to improve both every video I create and every event I hold for the VR community. I'm planning to work on even bigger projects for the studio by expanding my reach and pulling in sponsorships and marketing with large brands. Pulling in new custom 3D model assets and characters to improve looks and quality is very important to me, but can be very difficult to achieve on a small budget! I'm hoping that by joining the Sony Talent League I will find connections and resources to connect IRL with VR through mixed reality events and other types of mixed media to promote the exciting potentials of virtual reality... and creating ones that don't exist yet! I'm believe that the few events I've held in the studio are just a warm-up for the bigger adventures I'm planning for the future. I've learned so many lessons and skills so far, but there's still much to do. Hope to connect with this team to develop my vision to the maximum level. Thank you for this opportunity!
