My name is Simone and I recently graduated from QUADRA Academy with a focus on Digital Painting and Concept Art.
The past few years have been quite difficult: until a few years ago I was studying Computer Science at the University of Milan, trying to convince myself that it was my path. In the meantime, I was self-taught in my passion for drawing, wondering every day if I would actually be able to make it a job, something I have dreamed of since I finished high school.
In mid-2021, after the crisis due to Covid, I decided to quit my Computer Science studies to focus on what I really loved to do: Drawing. So I enrolled in the academy and since then my artistic awareness and technique have definitely improved.
Since I graduated, I have been able to get my first work experience in the sector, between role-playing game manuals and small video game projects. However, I would like to make the leap to something bigger, to interact more with other artist colleagues, exchange advice, opinions, and grow together, in order to improve further and be more satisfied with the pieces I produce.
The reason I am here at Trojan Horse was a Unicorn is precisely for this: I hope it will give me the opportunity to meet many experts in the field who work in companies where art is a fundamental factor, to have an exchange and dialogue with each of them!
I can't wait for this event to start!
