Biography
The first time I ever worked on a digital art piece was around the age of 3 1/2 years old back in 2004. Ever since then, I've fallen in love with the world of digital art. I went on to draw digitally with a mouse on a Compaq laptop that my parents bought me around 2012 and on a Lenovo laptop a couple years later after the first laptop broke down. It was around this time that I started using programs such as FireAlpaca and Medibang since they were the free options for beginners such as myself. Then, in Christmas of 2014, I received a Wacom Intuos Pro drawing tablet and I began to use it to make illustrations on the programs I previously mentioned. Years passed and I continued to make illustrations using the same devices, until I graduated from High School in 2018 and I had to invest in a heftier computer for college. After I entered college in 2018 to study animation at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón in San Juan, Puerto Rico, I upgraded from the Lenovo laptop I'd had for years into a new Asus ROG Strix. It was around this time that I started learning Photoshop and other Adobe programs, since I didn't previously have the funds to afford an Adobe subscription. I also started learning industry professional 3D programs such as Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine and many others. I completely fell in love with the way these programs worked. Throughout college I managed to work in a team environment in the classroom and in an internship at a company called Embodee in which I helped to make 3D clothing for their clients' online stores. This truly helped me better understand how the video game and animation industry work and I feel that now, having already finished all my college courses, I am ready to apply to a job on the field. Today, I still continue to use my Wacom Intuos Pro tablet to create illustrations and animations on programs such as Clip Studio Paint, but I feel I've also expanded my knowledge in learning how to sculpt in programs like Blender to make some eye-catching renders. Though I have learned much throughout these past 4 years of college, I still have a lot to learn and I am looking forward to being able to work alongside industry professionals as soon as possible.
