Serena was born on a Christmas night, in a town dominated by the Vesuvius volcano. She grew up as a dreamy and shy little girl, who found her way watching animation films and series. It was at that time that she promised herself… “One day I will animate my heroes too”. Serena started Drawing and Animation studies at the age of 18 in Naples: there, she also realized the importance of discovering new realities, outside the… pizza kingdom. Freshly graduated in Foreign Languages, she started to travel: in France, she experienced the bohemian charm of Paris, where she sold a lot of toys in the magic of Disneyland Paris and she taught Italian (and a bit of Neapolitan, too!) to French Riviera’s youngsters. However, she didn’t forget that promise made to the child she was. While the CG technologies boomed in the industry, she felt the last call for the animated world. And since life is a rollercoaster, she finally moved in Luxembourg, where she got a Bachelor in 3D Animation. Nowadays, Serena keeps practicing and learning the animation techniques, aware that the journey is a never-ending one, surely rich of new challenges and opportunities!
