My name is Seline and I am a senior taking up my bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB). Ever since I was a kid, I loved creating stories and characters. When I was around 8 years old, I even made a 3-part comic book series with my colored pencils and a spare notebook! In college, I became a design committee member and eventually the Creatives Head of DLS-CSB’s animation organization. In my spare time, I do art commissions for local and international clients while still making personal art as well. I recently was a graphic design intern at Canva and, in the past 2 years, I’ve become a member of a few organizations such as Rise Up Animation and Women in Animation. Although I took a slightly different artistic route academically, concept art, visual development art, and illustration are where my passions lie. As I approach my graduation and prepare for life post-grad, I’m aiming to acquire an internship, trainee, or apprentice role in an animation studio. I’m open to many opportunities, but the ultimate goal would be to be a concept artist, visual development artist, or designer for animated TV or Film. I would also be delighted to be an illustrator for children’s or YA literature. If life has other plans in store, I will be happy to pursue my passions that allow me to create a world and its characters through art.
