Biography
Sef X Odyssey (Josef Stovold)
I am an artist from Plymouth. I have written 2 poetry books and a nocel, created accompanying artwork for each, and two hand drawn childrens books. I have worked in and around office jobs like insurance, financial services, and I.T. I have friends and family that I love deeply.
In 2018 I decided I had to live differently and decided to follow my heart into making music. My father always said I sing so passionately and you can tell that I love it. I decided to move to Brighton to further my music studies in 2020, I now work as a waiter, and have gotten a new job as a light technician at a night club.
Since starting to learn music I have written, produced, composed, and performed 11 songs I intend to release as my debut album 'Sef X Odyssey - Hunger of the Blind'.
This project is a concept album. I have currently recorded 4 songs, made some promotional art, and recorded a music video. I have another recording session scheduled after the deadline of this competition.

At BIMM so far I have learned a lot about cultural theory, and how to better navigate in the creative industry. Moving to Brighton has also taught me a lot about myself.
