Hello all!

I am a 2D artist currently based in Dublin, Ireland but open to relocation for the right position. My work consists of designing for animation, games and entertainment arts. My specialty is environments and background art as I love constructing worlds filled with engaging detail and finding how best I can convey character and story through a location. I have a strong proficiency in compositing for 2D animation with both Adobe After Effects and ToonBoom Harmony as well as proficiency operating within the Adobe Creative Suite.

Having worked as a concept artist during my four-month internship at Serious Point Games, I helped contribute towards environment design and iteration. I helped produce technical drawings including floor plans, room specifications and amendments to previous concept art for their first game, The Ski Lodge Murder! I also liaised with many departments including narrative designers, production staff and additional art departments.

I have freelanced with various animation studios including Studio Marguya and King Bee Animation before finding long-term work with Kavaleer Productions. My work has mainly consisted of producing 2D backrgound artwork for those studios on their various productions, which has given me a chance to grow my skills in composition, design and visual storytelling.

The animation course I studied at Ballyfermot College of Further Education was quite broad. I have a working knowledge of 2D and 3D animation which has also given me a comprehensive understanding of the entire animation production pipeline. This gave me a consciousness of how a fully realized production pipeline will function and how different departments need to regularly
communicate with one another. Pairing this with my professional experience since, I feel properly equipped to adapt to a variety of unique pipelines.

I am punctual, polite, always happy to work with others in a team and efficient at time management. I am eager to build a career for myself and learn from others more experienced than I to incorporate their critiques and feedback into my workflow. I love visuals that are fantastical and spooky! My favourite types of stories are those that focus on specific and unique emotional resonance.
