Biography
Scot Stafford is an Emmy-winning composer, multiple MPSE-winning sound supervisor, Emmy-nominated director, founder of Pollen Music Group, and co-founder of THU's inaugural Sound & Music Chapter.
For more than two decades, Scot has built a career at the intersection of sound, music, animation, and technology, collaborating with many of the world's leading storytellers and tech pioneers. Along the way, he became known for dissolving boundaries between composer and sound designer, artist and technologist, imagination and invention.
Today his work extends beyond entertainment into robotics, neuroscience, perceptual research, and healthcare, where artistic thinking is helping shape entirely new products, experiences, and disciplines.
Scot's story is ultimately about creative survival in the face of existential threat by finding courage to create where no one is looking yet.
