Biography

Hi! I am a 2D artist living in Oakland, CA! I am incredibly enthusiastic about everything horror and sci-fi, but I also have a large admiration for animation and family-friendly stories. My inspirations run the gamut from the Dead Space franchise to Hayao Miyazaki’s work to the culture of New Orleans where I grew up. My favorite pop culture always seems to combine elements of horror, whimsy, and the exploration of culture and mythology. Through personal experience, I aim to create charming, yet edgy characters that incorporate my own loves and background while working with new ideas and franchises. My strengths include creating stylized prop designs, realistic portraits, and stylized character concepts. Because I have such varied interests, I have become extremely adaptable as an artist. Although my focus has primarily been character design, I also enjoy creating artwork for comics and functional prop concepts and turns. On my last few projects, I’ve had the most fun designing prop concepts, character expressions, and call outs. I love to be visually challenged and given new topics to play with artistically. **My public portfolio represents where I was a year ago. Please ask about my NDA Portfolio!
