Born and raised in Upstate New York (USA) with a fierce love for music and the fantastical. My education began at SUNY New Paltz with a BFA in Graphic Design and will end at Academy of Art University with an MA in Visual Development, concentrating on environment design. I currently reside in Scotia, NY along with my two cats and plant family. Remember when teachers would ask you "what do you want to be when you grow up"? My answer never changed since the first time I was asked; an artist. My love for drawing only grew from there and it developed into wanting to study graphic design first. After receiving my bachelors, I took a year off and really got to thinking about what it was I really wanted to do. I thought back to all the characters I would draw, the stories I would write, and it hit me. I applied for grad school and never looked back. Studying visual development has been rewarding and fun and helped me truly understand what kind of artist I could be. I'm still learning and still developing, but I am proud of how far I've come in such a short time. I'm eager to learn more and continue to grow. My main sources of inspiration for my own style are Fortiche and Powerhouse Animation. I hope to become a matte painter or environment artist!
