My name is Riccardo Fissore and I’m a motion graphic designer with over 8 years in the field. After graduating in Graphic & Virtual Design at Politecnico, in Turin, I’ve been working both in Italy and in the UK. As you can see from my showreel, I have experience in 2D and 3D motion graphics, character animation, together with a full understanding of web formats, video post-production and visual effects techniques. I’m currently working in the video unit at Jagex, a historic British game company based in Cambridge. I’m a versatile professional and truly enjoy tackling a variety of projects. Most of all, I like to keep myself up to date with software tools and equipment, not only by taking courses and workshops but also by dedicating to self-training most of my free time. I also believe I have the right skillset and mindset to work in a diverse and international team as I’m demonstrating working at Jagex. I always strive to produce the best animations for any project and I’m willing to learn news competencies, especially in 3d design and animation. I’ve always been fascinated by video games and one of my dreams was to work in the video game industry as an artist. This passion brought me to write my awarded bachelor’s dissertation on the design of an app that allows students and visitors to learn by playing inside museums, using new interactive technologies.
