
Biography
Rachel Yost is a Background Painter, Layout Designer, and Prop Designer based in Southern California. She is currently a fourth year animation student graduating May 2022, and taking a Background Design class at CGMA. Her most recent ongoing project is working on the senior capstone film "Cat City" as a Background Artist, Prop Designer, and Production Coordinator. Rachel also worked on three previous student films in various roles including Directing, Background Painting, and Color Design. Some of her favorite experiences networking in animation include volunteering at ASIFA's Annie Awards and attending Lightbox Expo. When she's not drawing or painting, Rachel enjoys gaming, pilates, and spending time with her cats.
