Heyo, I'm Peter but I am mostly known online as Lucieth. I grew up in Denmark, now in my mid thirties and I am in the process of honing my skills to become a full time professional artist. I would love to find a company to work for, but in the absence of full time employment I am looking into freelancing. My artistic tastes doesn't limit themselves to a single genre, but are definitely shaped by a life of looking at all kinds of artwork and also from a wide variety of games. Games that made a big impact on me early on were Legend of Zelda for the N64 and I have since been a big fan of the series. Initially wanted to become an animator, I thought The Animation Workshop (located in Viborg, Denmark) was the right fit for me. At the time they had a fine-arts course and an animation line (2004) none of which were government funded back then, so I postponed applying there. Life took me for a detour and at 30 I realized that it was time to make something of it. The art of Magic The Gathering drew me in and I set my goal towards fantasy illustration, but I also picked up a love for character design along the way. Now I very much dream of teaching and working in a studio on both high fantasy and even more stylized things. Giving solicited critiques and sharing advice and knowledge have taught me a lot in the recent years and some peoples interest in being mentored by me has made me realize my own joy of giving helpful constructive feedback for my fellow artists. I also have a personal project with my partner Helena(creative writer/story teller), titled "Sourcebound", a fantasy world building project that we put up on Patreon. The idea of having a Patreon was incentive to release designs and illustrations in a timely manner and hold ourselves accountable, and for me to have work to present in my portfolio that wasn't private commission work.
