Biography
Hi! My name is Paula Bonaval and I am a Spanish Junior VFX Supervisor with experience as a VFX Coordinator, Editor and Compositor too.
In the past 4 years I have worked in over 40 projects (features and series) for clients such as Netflix, Amazon Prime or Arte France. Nonetheless, my journey has been a very winding one. It started with a Degree in History (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela) and a Masters Degree in Cinema Research (Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne). Then I spent two years working as a Sales Manager in Carrefour in Madrid with a team in charge of 8 people. I loved my job, but I craved for more creativity, so in 2019 I decided to return back to studying what had always really been my passion: audiovisuals. So after an HNC of two years I landed an Erasmus Compositing internship at a VFX studio in Paris.
I speak Spanish, French, Galician, English and have basic notions of German (A2) and Arabic (A1). I think my strengths at work are critical thinking, problem solving, empathy and creativity and my teammates often describe me as a proactive person. Thanks for stopping by my profile.
