I was born in Mexico City in 1997. I'm a former student of the University of Monterrey (UDEM) and have a bachelors degree in Digital Film Production. I have experience in both Mexican and Spanish fields of filmmaking, having done a year and a half abroad at the University of Santiago de Compostela (2020) and the Francisco de Vitoria University (2020-2021). I earned a scholarship from NYU Tisch and got a special certification for "Film and TV Industry Essentials". I took an internship with the Monterrey International Film Festival (FICM). While in Spain, I also participated in the Kino Galicia film festival (2020) as an event assistant. I also competed in a special project as director of the short film "Debajo de la Rosa" (2020) that was exhibited at the Galician Center for Contemporary Art. This contest tasked us with the development of a short film in 24 hours or less. I have also directed independent projects such as short films and tv pilots. Among them is “Tomas de Herosterra” (2020) which is part of the Official Selection of INCORTO Film Fest 2021, for which I worked with film specialists to put together a sword fight choreography. Another stand out is the short film "Loop" which is scheduled to be released in 2022. other projects I have directed, such as "A Carne de Lobo" and "El último beso", were released in 2022. My latest endeavor was my independent student thesis titled "The Void Among the Stars", which incorporated the use of special effects to create an atmospheric space universe. I took care of the direction and the production of the film as well as the story development and screenplay. I also collaborated in the fundraising efforts. I've also worked as a freelancer, creating audiovisual content for different kinds of companies. I worked as a content creator and social media manager at an NGO and at a student residence company, where I constantly created content for their social media. The majority of my audiovisual skills where developed during my bachelor's. I have a dual nationality (Mexican and Spanish).
