I am not the artist who has been drawing since they were old enough to hold a pencil. Quite the contrary. I can't remember I enjoyed drawing and painting at all as a child. It was all about making Mystery X videos, pretend meteor showers and as I got older, tabletop role-playing games. It wasn't until later in life I discovered what an absolute joy it is to be able to take all of those stories played out in childhood and make them come alive again on a page. Now I am working myself towards the perfect dream. To create characters and illustrations for games, be it video games, board games or role-playing games. I just love making characters. To explore their personality through design, find their faults and humor in their acting and setting the mood with values and color. For the duration of the creation process they become a companion and you get to know them intimately until you lay down that last brush stroke and send them on their way.
