Biography
I'm Nuno Salvada, a visual artist based in Portugal whose work mostly focuses on animation, illustration and comics.
I graduated with a Masters in Drawing from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon (2023) and then went on to study 2 online courses (storyboard/animatic + 2D animation) at Gobelins Paris. More recently I finished another online course in 2DFX by RTFX Animation, as it's a field I've been looking to specialize in and was part of my Masters thesis. Currently I'm working on a short animated project in coordination with Daniel Cuervo (LOOP Mentorship).
I also have had experiences working on a succesful children's book series "Ricky" which is about inclusion and disability and has had various events within Portugal. I have also illustrated other books for specific clients.
My connection and experience with art has spanned my whole life. In my personal work I often explore intersecting forms of expression and stories that dive into a character's personal psyche or world. In general I love trying new things and having fun!
